Amazing attention to making sure we all knew so much about Istanbul and surrounding area by providing very engaging Zoom calls before we started packing. Istanbul is a magical place and our guides did an incredible job wherever we went to make sure we discovered so much more. It was incredible!

The tour was exceptionally well planned, and the group turned out to be truly special. It was both informative and inspiring, and I had a wonderful time throughout. My top five favorite sites and activities were the Chora Church, the Dervish performance, the mosques, and the Galata Tower—followed closely by the hammam experience. I realize that travel has changed- interesting places to see are packed with tourists….not ideal but being with Sevan and Sheyda made the experience fun, safe, warm and personable. Our Artblazing tour of Istanbul with Sevan and Sheyda was everything I hoped it would be. Our two leaders were so knowledgeable, they illuminated a culture I knew little about.  The architectural and historical sites were well chosen, as were the restaurants.  Traveling with a small group of people is delightful, we all make new friends. We will definitely travel with Artblazing again.

Artblazing’s “Illuminating Istanbul” tour exceeded my expectations in every way. What a pleasure to be in such competent hands, day after day! Terrific meals and more wonderful experiences than I can keep in my head! Sevan and his sister Sheyda were excellent hosts, and the various guides were all first-rate in their own ways. Plus, Sevan arranged for me to fulfill a long-held dream: A visit to the Göbkli Tepe archaeological site as part of a very long (but totally worth it!) journey to Urfa and back. And two people from our group elected to join me for that 22-hour day! Plus, we made some great new friends.
